Bucket List Talks.TTB are our monthly gatherings brought to you by the TickTheBucket.org Project.
GUEST SPEAKERS 4.0
- Stephen Klemich – Stephen is an amateur adventurer having the privilege of climbing mountains and rock faces around the globe, walked deserts, paddled oceans, and travelled to cities and places that as a child growing up in Australia he could only dream about. A very privileged life still with a bucket list of adventure to have.
- Tarran Kent-Hume– In 2013 he set out to change the direction of his life, and through some painful transitions, life-changing adventures and finding his calling in life, Tarran has become the first Australian to kayak the river Amazonas, finishing this epic adventure on October 30, 2015.
- Sophie L Smith– Soph boasts an incredible track record as an up-and-coming DJ and moving spoken word artist. Her career has taken her to work with the likes of James Massiah and his AE collective, she’s performed for Boiler room TV, Just Jam TV, The W Project at Shoreditch House, Bussey building and many other prominent venues around London. When asked why she was being invited down to TTB Talks she said: “I think it’s really important for people to be motivated to do something they love!” and we knew she’d be perfect.
- Grace Flahive– a London-based writer, content editor and appreciator of a really great GIF. She is the author of four novels, half of which will remain in dark cellars for eternity, and half of which can be read and enjoyed if one dares.
Our goal is to bring people together to get inspired, get informed and come together to tick items off your BucketLists. So far we’ve brought people together to help them run marathons, start doing stand-up comedy, becoming mixologists, learn Spanish, and so much more.
We scour the globe to find the best, wildest and most interesting storytellers and get them to show you how to follow in their footsteps.
Some of our guest speakers have included a Burlesque fire eating mademoiselle, Mr Spoonface who told us about his rise to a No.1 U.K single, Peter Penny who returned to tell us about his ‘year in the clouds’ (climbing the 12 of the tallest peaks in the world in one year) and Aimee Teesdale telling us about her journey from an estate in the North of England to a life as BucketList entrepreneur and many many more… Hold onto your seat and buy an edible hat because 2017 is set to be a big year.
